First of the First

Happy New Year everyone!
So…I’ve decided to use the excuse of it being new year to take the next step in disappearing up my own arsehole, I’m going to try and make a go of writing this ere music blog.

Since it’s my first ever post, I figure I might as well set out a mission statement of some sort. I’m starting this blog because I love my own music taste a little bit too much, and I require validation from others to enhance this exercise in self-love.

I’ll try to post new music whenever I find something I think is worth spreading around, be it awesome, interesting or utterly terrible. I can’t promise it’ll always be to your taste, but if you find just one song that you think is worth a place in your life, it would make me pretty happy.

I found Stornaway on the BBC hot-list for 2010, if this song is anything to go by I imagine they'll be doing pretty well this year. It's a shit video but a lovely song:
